Johnny Fouts was born June 6, 1944 in Leslie Co. and departed this life Thursday, May 12, 2016 at his residence in Tyner, being 71 years of age. He was the son of the late Jim & Mavis (Cornett) Fouts.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Wilma Jean (Bowling) Fouts of Tyner and by five children, Jeff Fouts of Berea, Johnny Wayne Fouts and wife Chris of Mascot, TN, Gail Gilbert and husband Phillip of Cumberland, Kendra Turner and husband Albert of Annville and Lettisha Davidson and husband John of Berea. He is also survived by three sisters, Evelyn Bowling and husband Mike of Tyner, Erma Day of Hyden and Marie Adams of Wooten. Johnny was blessed with ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, Johnny was also preceded in death by five siblings, Willie Fouts, Harold Dean Fouts, Hazel Clark, Margaret Bailey and Josie Jean Fouts.
Johnny was a member of the Pentecostal House of Prayer.
Funeral service 2:00PM Monday, May 16, 2016 at Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ in Leslie Co. with Bro. Billy Joe Lewis officiating. Burial followed in Similax, KY. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
