June Joseph

June Joseph, of Polls Creek Road, Smilax, Kentucky, wife of Bradley Joseph, was born to union of the late Orie and Dallie (Wells) Day. June passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Kentucky. June was a retired school teacher, and enjoyed spending time with her family, flower gardening, cooking, interior decorating, reading her bible and witnessing to others. June was a member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax She taught Sunday School for many years, sang in the choir, and enjoyed lending a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

In addition to her parents, June is preceded in death by her brother, Carl Day.

June leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Bradley Joseph of Smilax, KY; two sons, Danny Lewis (Brenda) of Smilax, KY and Keith Joseph (Sherry) of Jackson, GA; one daughter, Linda Caudill (Jim) of Smilax, KY; a very special niece, Lois Thomas Day of Smilax, KY; special caregivers, Totty Mullins Hensley, Bernetta York, Mable Pennington, and Wanda Osborne; five cherished grandchildren and one great-grandchild to be, due July, 2017; a host of other relatives, church family and friends also survive.



Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 11:00 A.M., in the chapel of the Wolfe and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis and her beloved son, Rev. Keith Joseph officiating. Burial will follow with a private graveside service for family only. Family and friends may gather for visitation from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Monday evening at the funeral home chapel.
