Wilma Sue "Susie" Carmack

Wilma Sue Carmack, of Wolf Creek Road, Yeaddiss, Kentucky, departed this walk of life on Friday, June 09, 2017 at her residence. She was 69 years and 12 days of age. She was born May 27, 1948 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of the late Wilson and Sarah Day Lewis. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Leslie County for the past 30 plus years. Susie had resided and traveled in many parts the world along with her beloved husband, Cpt. Edward Carmack, Sr. before settling in Leslie County. Susie was a selfless person, always putting other first. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed working with her flowers and taking care of her animals. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Carmack, Sr.; cherished grandson, Austin Carmack; one brother, Mathias Lewis.

She leaves behind two beloved sons, Edward Carmack, Jr. & wife, Lorine and Joey Carmack & wife, Robin, both of Yeaddiss, KY; one step-daughter, Kimberly Carmack & husband, Ed of St. Petersburg, Fl; one brother, Paul Lewis of Cutshin, KY; two sisters, Alpha Simpson and Helen Hensley, both of Yeaddiss, KY; one grandson, Edward Lee Carmack; A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive her passing.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday in the chapel of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Wolfe officiating. Interment will follow in the Lewis - Day- Carmack Cemetery at Yeaddiss, KY. Family and friends may gather for visitation from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M., Sunday evening at the chapel.
