Joshua Logan Nantz of Bledsoe, KY was born October 06, 1994 in Leslie County. He departed this life on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at his residence at Bledsoe, Kentucky at the age of 25. Josh lived his formative years in Leslie County and had been a resident of Bledsoe since 2010. Josh was an avid fisherman and enjoyed digging roots, hickory chickens, and hunting ginseng. He was an amazing and talented artist. His greatest love was the love he had for his daughter, Caroline. This was evident in the drawings he had created in her honor. He loved her with all of his heart and spoke of her often.
Josh was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Ellen Nantz and maternal grandmother, Nannie Mae Brock.
Josh leaves behind, his Dad and Mom, Patrick & Regina Brock of Bledsoe, KY, his biological father, Roy Nantz of Warbranch, KY, his biological mother, Teretha Joan Brock Hubbard (Pearl) of Asher, KY, cherished daughter, Caroline, maternal grandfather, Ray Brock of Helton, KY, one brother, Dustin Blanton (Hannah) of Harlan, KY, two sisters, Elizabeth Akers (Mason) of Louisville, KY, and Victoria Akers of Bledsoe, KY; a niece, Laney Johnson of Louisville, KY. A host of other family and friends survive.
Funeral service for Joshua Logan Nantz will be held at 1p.m. – Sunday at the Dry Fork Holiness Church of Helton, KY with Denver Brock and Dwight Brock officiating. Interment will follow in the Dry Fork Cemetery at Helton, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends for visitation after 6p.m. – Saturday evening at the church.
