Mr. Willard Lee Turner of Leeco Road, Wooton, Kentucky departed this walk of life on Monday, February 19, 2018 at the Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky at the age of 64. Willard Lee was born on January 13, 1954 in London, Kentucky to the union of the late Arthur Lee Turner and Lula Mae Wells. He was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at Yeaddiss, Kentucky. By occupation, he was a former drill operator in the strip mine industry. Willard Lee enjoyed ginseng hunting, working, gardening and just being outdoors.
In addition to his parents, Willard Lee is preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Turner, two brothers, Jerry Turner and Woodrow Turner; two sisters, Vivian Lewis and Sue Ann Adams.
He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife, Imogene Clark Turner of Wooton, KY; two beloved daughters, Debra Sturgill & Chris, and Diane Pennington & Mike, both of Wooton, KY; three brothers, William Harold Turner of Berea, KY, Lester Turner of London, KY, and Robert Turner of Hyden, KY; a sister, Ruth Wells & William of Smilax, KY; eight cherished grandchildren, Alley Mitchell & Justin, Eric Sturgill, Wyatt Sturgill, Jesse Sturgill, Chelsea Smith & Glennon, Caleb Williams, Cameron Williams, and Johnathon Pennington; and four cherished great-grandchildren, Myles Mitchell, Kyra Mitchell, Kynleigh Smith and Kyler Smith also survive.
