Connie Sue Napier

Connie Sue Napier of Roswell, NM, formally of Preachers Fork Road - Hyden, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, February 08, 2016 at her residence at the age of 58 years, 08 months and 04 days. Connie was born June 04, 1957 in Hyden, Kentucky to the union of the late Felix and Nola Feltner Stidham. Connie was a life - long resident of Leslie County, with the exception of having lived the past 10 years in Roswell, NM. Connie was a homemaker and was employed by the Leslie County Board of Education for 10 years. She was affiliated with the Church of Christ. Connie loved living life and just being around people. Her grandchildren were the sparkle of her eye. Other than her parents, Connie is preceded in death by three brothers, Delver, Willie Ray and Freddie Stidham, one sister, Cleva Jane Pennington.

Connie is survived by one son, Shawn Napier of Hyden, KY, three brothers, Ballard Stidham (Thelma) of Florida, Roger Stidham of Dayton, OH and Thomas Stidham (Cathy) of Indiana, three sisters, Betty Mesorah of Ohio, Mable Morgan (Kerry Gale) of Stinnett, KY, and Patricia Hollifield (Mike) of Hazard, KY. She is also survived by two beloved grandchildren, Hunter and Destiny, special friend, Paul Revis and host of other family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 13, 2016 in the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Mack Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at the Hurricane Cemetery at Hyden, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
