Gregory T. Sizemore

Mr. Gregory Taylor "Buddy" Sizemore, of Smilax, Kentucky departed this walk of life on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center at the age of 48 years, 11 months and 24 days. He was born February 24, 1967 in Hazard, Kentucky to the union of Juanita Deaton Sizemore Shepherd and the late Glen Edward Sizemore. Gregory was a life-long resident of Leslie County and by occupation was a former coal miner. His family was the priority in his life, always putting them first. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding ATVs, NASCAR and was an avid UK fan.

He is preceded in death by his father, Glen Edward Sizemore, beloved son, Dustin Edward Sizemore and brother, Clyde Edward "Eddie" Sizemore.

Gregory Taylor "Buddy" Sizemore is survived by his beloved mother, Juanita Deaton Shepherd of Cornettsville, KY, one cherished son, James Tyler Sizemore of Smilax, KY and special friend and mother of his children, Sandy Adams of Wooton, Kentucky. A host of other family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday in the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Tommy Fields officiating. Burial will follow in the Larkin Lewis Cemetery at Smilax, KY. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M., Monday evening at the funeral home chapel.
