Marvin E. Begley

MARVIN E. BEGLEY, of Church Hill, TN, (formerly of Hyden, KY) departed this life on Friday, April 08, 2016 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN at the age of 51. Born January 21, 1965 in Hyden, Kentucky, the son of the late Arnold and Hannah Bailey Begley. Marvin spent his formative years in Leslie County until becoming a resident of Michigan and the past eight years in Church Hill, Tennessee. Marvin enjoyed people, music, fishing and barbecuing. Other than his parents, Marvin is preceded in death by one brother, Gary Begley, mother of his children, Delta Morgan; sister-in-law, Brenda Morgan and brother-in-law, Cliff Wantje.

Marvin is survived by, his beloved fiancé, Stephanie Flanary of Church Hill, TN, three sons, Marvin Begley, Jr. of Columbia, TN, Bryan Begley of Columbia, TN, and Wesley Begley of Church Hill, TN, one daughter, Sandra Pratt (John Paul) of Columbia, TN, his special children, Delta, Ricky, Aaron, Johnny Ray, David and Christine, four brothers, John Begley of Dearborn Heights, MI, Lonnie Begley of Monroe, MI, Wade Begley of Hyden, KY and Arnold Begley, Jr. of Taylor, MI, three sisters, Lois Wantje of Trinity, FL, Carolyn Sue Johnson of Hyden, KY, and Bertha Marie Begley of Hyden, KY two grandchildren, Jaime Pratt and Isabella Pratt, four special nieces, Kimberly, Brandi, Kayla and Hannah, special friend, Danny Shepherd. Marvin is also survived by a host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Larry Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in the Arnold Begley Cemetery at Hyden, KY. The Begley family will receive friends for visiting hours from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M., Monday evening at the Wolfe & Sons chapel. The following will serve as pallbearers: Jeff Johnson, Robert Begley, John Paul Pratt, James Pratt, Steven Begley, Randy Begley, Russell Baker, and Wayne Begley.
