Aaron Wendell Hoskins

Aaron Wendell Hoskins of Asher, KY was born May 15, 1984 in Leslie County to the late Wendell Brock and the late Linda Faye Hoskins.

Aaron was an avid sports fan; he enjoyed all sports, but basketball was his favorite.  His real passion was riding and repairing four-wheelers and dirt bikes.  These things gave him joy and a thrill.  He has owned a vast collection of four-wheelers throughout his life.

Aaron departed this life on February 29, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, KY.   Aaron was 39 years old.

In addition to his parents, Aaron was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Walter Brock and Mossie Hoskins, his maternal grandparents Cecil Hoskins and Nora Sizemore Hoskins.  Also, his three half brothers Donald Lynn Brock, Eugene Brock and Billy Edward Brock.

Aaron leaves behind two children Cayson Hoskins and Shay Melton, both of Manchester, KY.  Other survivors include one brother Jonathan Hoskins (Keeva Hacker) of Hyden, KY and two sisters Kayla Brooke Hoskins of Asher ky, and Roxanna Tolbert (Michael) of Bell Co., KY; three half-brothers Kenny Wayne Brock of Dayton, OH, Wesley Brock and Ballard Junior Brock (Melina), both of Hyden, KY; one half-sister Laura Sizemore (Daniel) of Hyden, KY; his special nephews and nieces Jonathan Cecil Hoskins, Jacob Thomas Hoskins, Paisley Alana Hoskins, Kiana Tolbert, Blake Tolbert, Logan Sizemore and Cody Brock.  A host of other family and friends also mourn his passing.

A graveside service for Aaron Hoskins will be held at 1p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the Albert Morgan Cemetery at Essie, KY with Eugene Friday Roberts and Graylon Short officiating.  Interment will follow the service.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
