Alice Faye Taylor, born May 05, 1944 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Walter "Pop" Baker and the late Chaney "Mom" Smith. She departed this life on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the Mission Trails Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, TX. She was united in marriage to her loving and devoted husband Mr. Clifford Taylor on January 04, 1963. She was a homemaker and was a former resident of Stinnett, KY and currently had been residing in of Elmendorf, TX for the past 16 years. She enjoyed cross word puzzles, listening to music, playing card and watching Country Music Television. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Miller and Mack Baker. Five sisters: Dorothy Estridge, Eva Morgan, Reeth Hammersley, Margaret Cox and Rose Asher. Alice Faye leaves behind the following relatives: Clifford A. Taylor of Elmendorf, TX, two sons: douglas A. Taylor & Sherry of Omaha, NB and Vernon O. Taylor & Ann of Elmendorf, TX. Two daughters: Lydia E. Taylor Morgan of Elmendorf, TX and Davida G. Taylor Wooton & John Michael of London, KY. Two brothers: Maynard Baker of Hazard, KY and John Baker of Somerset. Three sisters: Grace Howard of Stinnett, KY, Pauline Roberts of Stinnett, KY and Barbara Brock of Rutledge, TN. 8 Grandchildren: Bethany Hope Morgan Smith, W. Mitchell Morgan, Gracanne Morgan, Kelsey Arlene Hacker, David Michael Wooton, John Kristofer Taylor, Kaitlyn Rachelle Taylor and Lindsay Brooke Taylor. Special friends: Beverly Elliott, Flora Marshall, Barbara Migura and Carolyn Hacker. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive her passing.
