A.M. Brock

Mr. A.M. Brock, born January 12, 1930 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Will Brock and the late Belle Johnson Brock. He went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at his residence. He was 81 years, 01 month and 14 days of age and was residing at Hwy 2058, Helton, KY at the time of his passing. He was a life long resident of Leslie County and by occupation was a self employed logger, farmer and carpenter. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, four wheeling, going to church, being involved in the lives of the young people in his community and his love for his dogs were evident. He was an excellent father, grandfather and role model. He is preceded in death by his parents, nine brothers: John Berry, Mike, Richard, Grant, Allen, Mitchell, Charlie, Isar and Wilk Brock. Two sisters: Sarah Brock and Gracie Roark and two grandchildren: Travis Glenn Brock and Brian Keith Brock. A.M. leaves the following relatives surviving: His loving and devoted wife of 59 years and 6 months: Catherine Caldwell Brock of Helton, KY, four sons: Stanley Brock & Carolyn of London, KY, Ronnie Brock & Vicki of Bledsoe, KY, Reed Brock & Barbara of Annville, KY and Glenn Brock of Helton, KY. Three daughters: Ruthie Gruner & Bernd of Helton, KY, Nettie Wilson & Howard of Kettle Island, KY and Gail Nantz & Clyde of London, KY. Seventeen Grandchildren: Todd Brock, Shandra Harris, Trent Brock, Brandon Brock, Melody Washburn, Mia Callahan, Johnathan Brock, Jeremy Brock, Adam Brock, Derrick Brock, Justin Brock, Mandy Gross, Catrina Osborne, Kayla Belcher, Kenzie Kelly, Sierra Nantz and Andrew Nantz. Twenty two great grandchildren: Kaylee, Brooklyn, Lyndsey, Tyler, Landon, Kelsey, Morgan, Allen, Dustin, Brock, Jaden, Jace, Taylor, Dylan, Heidi, Jager, Parker, Noah, Austin, Trevor, Landon and Andreia. A host of many other relatives and friends also survive.
