Anthony Lynn Howard

Mr. Anthony Lynn Howard, born September 29, 1948 in Keokee, VA to the union of the late Noah Howard and the late Joan Mosley Howard. Anthony departed this life on Monday, March 12, 2012 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was 63 years, 05 months and 12 days of age and was residing at McWhoter Road, London, KY at the time of his passing. He was a former resident of Leslie County and had been residing in London, KY for the past 8 years. By occupation Anthony was a former coal miner, having been employed by Bledsoe Coal Company. He was affiliated with the Stinnett Church of Christ at Hoskinston, KY. Anthony enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling, his Jeep and spending time with his grandchildren. Anthony is preceded in death by his parents; one grandson: Jackson Howard. Mr. Anthony Lynn Howard leaves the following relatives to mourn his passing: His loving and devoted wife: Effie Shanks Howard of London, KY; Two sons: Anthony Howard and wife, Amanda of Hoskinston, KY and Chris Howard and wife, Renee of Warbranch, KY; One brother: Michael Howard and wife, Elizabeth of Hoskinston, KY; One sister: Deborah Napier and husband, Rick of Stinnett, KY; Two grandchildren: Anthony Waylon Howard and Destiny Mariah Campbell; Nephews: Michael Scott Howard, Rodney Lynn Howard, Brian Napier, Brandon Howard and Darin Howard; One niece: Brittany Jo Napier; His pet companion: Maggie; A host of other relatives and friends also survive.
