Beatrice Coots

Beatrice Coots, born December 26, 1928 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Levi and Octavia Morgan Coots. She departed this life on Wednesday, April 04, 2012 at the Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY at the age of 83 years. She was a life long resident of Leslie County, KY and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 Brothers: Ward and Clarence "RED"; 2 children: Dale Baker and Loretta Day; One grandchild: Sherry Woldridge. Ms. Beatrice Coots leaves the following relatives surviving: Three sons: Danny Baker, Terry Baker and Otis Coots, all of Smilax, KY; Two daughters: Daisy Combs of Smilax, KY and Wilma Shepherd of Beaver Dam, KY; Three brothers: Carl Coots and wife, Charlene of Wooton, KY, Lucian Coots of Smilax, KY and Newman Coots of West Virginia; Life long companion: Leamon Maggard; 11 grandchildren, 8 great - grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends survive.
