Billy Ray Coots, 63, of Westmoreland, TN passed away Monday, August 17, 2026 at Westmoreland Care & Rehab. The Hyden, KY native was a former employee of Thomas and Betts and son of the late Bill Coots and Pauline Marie Baker Coots. He is survived by 1 son: Jaron Coots and wife, Taylor, Pleasant Shade, TN;2 daughters: Victoria Mandrell and husband, Aaron, Westmoreland, TN and Donna McAnally and husband, Michael, CT;2 brothers: Pearl Baker and wife, Michelle, Yeaddiss, KY and I.D. Coots, Patriot, IN;1 sister: Rhonda Shepherd and husband, Wayne, Sharp Chapel, TN;7 grandchildren: Bentley Mandrell, Maverick Mandrell, Kaybree Mandrell, Haven Silvers, Coleton Bobbin, Mackenzie Conway and Chayse Conway.He was preceded in death by 1 sister: Helen Partin and 1 brother: Jimmy Coots.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at Baker Cemetery in (Big Rock), Yeaddiss, KY with Keith Baker officiating.
