Obituary

Billy Allen King, age 43, of Dry Ridge passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY.

Born December 8, 1979, in Madison, IN, Billy was the son of Donnie King, Sr. and the late Barbara King Carpenter. He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Dry Ridge and lived his life for the Lord.  He was a dedicated husband and loving father who enjoyed being outdoors.  He was employed by Sterling Materials as a Quality Technician and also loved working in his garage.

Billy will be missed by his wife of over 22 years, Sheena Marie Bell King; his children, Conner, Canyon, and Caylee King; four siblings; his in-laws, Lisa (Darrel) Wilkerson and Falisha (Cory) Fleckinger; nieces, Rose and Scarlett; and a host of extended family, friends, and his mining family at Sterling Materials.

Family will receive friends at the Garrett - New funeral home on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 4 - 7 pm, with a service to follow at 7 pm.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 1 pm in the Critt Morgan Cemetery at Essie, KY, with Pastor, Lawrence Longworth officiating.

Interment will follow in the Critt Morgan Cemetery - Essie, KY.
