Bonnie Christine (Hudson) Osborne

Bonnie Christine Osborne, 88, of Ypsilanti, MI, formerly of Hyden, KY, departed this walk of life on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at home with her loving family at her side.

Bonnie was born April 22, 1934, in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of Madison M. and Ruth C. Clark Hudson.  On October 27, 1950, she married Clarence Osborne Jr., in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and he preceded her in death on September 27, 2011. Bonnie was employed as a Postal Contractor for 37 years.  She was a member of Smilax Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ in Smilax, Kentucky, where she founded the Children’s Vacation Bible School Program, used her talents as a musician and sang in the choir.   She was also a founding member of Apostolic Faith Church (Pineview Church) in Ypsilanti, MI.

In addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Rose Osborne; grandson, Shawn Michael Osborne and four sisters.

Survivors include her son, Mark Osborne; two grandchildren: Kara (Christian) Gladwell and Forrest Lee Osborne; two great grandchildren: Imogen and India Gladwell; one sister, Dru McDonald; several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 12:00 Noon at the Smilax Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, Smilax Kentucky with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating.

Interment will follow in the Osborne Family Cemetery, Hyden, Kentucky.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday from 11a.m. until the service hour at the church.
