Carla (Smith) Banegas

Carla Banegas, born December 08, 1971 in Beaverdam, KY to Ruby Margaret Widner Smith and the late Carlos Wayne Smith.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her cats and watching television.  Carla departed this walk of life on Sunday, December 04, 2022 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center at the age of 50.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carlos Wayne Smith.

Carla is survived by her loving & devoted husband, Jose Banegas of Hyden, KY, her beloved mother, Ruby Margaret Smith of Stinnett, KY, one son, Joe Banegas (Ayana Lewis) of Richmond, KY and one daughter, Brittany Banegas (Jordon Rickertson) of Frankfort, KY.  Other survivors include, two brothers, Bobby Smith (Buffy) and Jeremy Smith, both of Harlan, KY.

No services are scheduled for Carla Banegas at this time.  A private memorial will be planned at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
