Cassie Stacy

Cassie Sizemore Stacy, born February 24, 1921 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Bradley and Vina Doll Wilder Sizemore. She departed this life on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at her residence. She was 90 years and 2 days of age and was residing at 151 Von Lane, Hyden, KY at the time of her passing. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Lower Grassy Church of Christ. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, camping, watching baseball games, wrestling and westerns. She was also an avid Atlanta Braves fan. More than anything she enjoyed being involved in the lives of her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Henry Stacy, one son: Carter Stacy, two brothers: Lige and Pleasie Sizemore, two sisters: Bessie Asher and Zilpha Asher. One brother-in-law: Luvas Stacy and one son-in-law: Jackson Wooton, Jr. Cassie leaves the following relatives surviving: One son: Will Stacy of Hyden, KY, one daughter: Nancy Jane Wooton of Hyden, KY, one brother: Oscar Sizemore of Hyden, KY. 11 Grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 23 great great grandchildren. A host of many other relatives and friends also survive.
