C herylee Edgin, of Wooton, KY, departed this life on Thursday, March 08, 2018 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center at the age of 59.  She was born in Iowa on February 26, 1959 to the union of the late Isaac and Junice Vetter Baarda.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wooton, Kentucky.  By occupation, Cherylee was a former receptionist, employed by Mitchell Orthopedic Co.  She had been a resident of Wooton, Kentucky for the past six years, coming from Nashville TN.   Cherylee loved butterflies, going to the beach, attending church, spending time with her family.  She adored her dogs as well.  Her hobbies included baking and cooking.

In addition to her parents, Cherylee was preceded in death by her son, Wesley Edgin;  one sibling, Shelly.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Scott Edgin of Wooton, KY;  step-mother, Billye Baarda of Nashville, TN;  one daughter, Janessa Melton (Arthur) of Wooton, KY;  one sister, Maelene Ford (Rick) of Nashville, TN;  a step-brother, Shayne Baarda of Nashville, TN;  two cherished grandchildren, Brandon Melton and Justin Melton.
