Clarence RED"" Coots

Mr. Clarence "Red" Coots, born November 16, 1930 to the union of Levi and Octivia Morgan Coots. He departed this life on Monday, February 08, 2010 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital in Manchester, KY. He was 79 years 2 months and 23 days of age at the time of his death. By occupation he was a retired coal miner, and was a member of the Church of Christ. He had shared his life with his beloved wife Mabel for the past 59 years. He enjoyed: fishing, hunting, riding around and spending time with family. He is preceded in death by his parents; One brother: Ward Coots; One grandchild: James Joe Estep and one great grandchild: Jordyan Johnson. Mr. Clarence "Red" Coots leaves the following relatives surviving: His loving and devoted wife: Mrs. Mabel Coots of Smilax, KY; Two sons: Ronald Scott Coots of Wooton, KY; Clarence Coots, Jr and Mae of Delphia, KY; Three daughters: Alma Jean Cornett and Lowell of Smilax, KY; Octivia Johnson and Everett of Cumberland, KY; Patricia Estep and Jerome Smith of Manchester, KY. Three brothers: Carl Coots and Charlene of Wooton, KY; Lucian Coots of Smilax, KY and Newman Coots of West Virginia. One sister: Beatrice Coots of Smilax, KY. Six Grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive.
