Clyde Brock

Mr. Clyde Edward Brock of Stinnett, KY was born July 06, 1957 in Leslie County, KY.  Clyde was a carpenter by trade.  He was also a timber cutter in the logging industry. 

Clyde was united in marriage to Rita Hacker in July of 2012.  He enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping and being outdoors, especially in the mountains.  Clyde loved cookouts and spending time with his family and friends.

Clyde was a friend to many, always willing to offer a helping hand.  If there was a task that needed to be completed, Clyde was always willing and ready to take it on.  Especially if it pertained to carpentry or woodwork.

Clyde departed this life on Thursday, October 26^th, 2023 at the age of 66.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie “Gunsmoke” Collett and Laura Belle Collett; brothers: Ronald Dean Brock, Jeffery Brock, and Paul Brock; two step-brothers: Lloyd Collett and Bruce Collett; one nephew: Daniel Lynn Whitaker.

Surviving is his wife: Rita Hacker Brock; One step-son: Christopher Bray, two step-daughters: Robin Morgan and Melissa Feltner; two brothers: Alex Brock (Denisha) and William Collett (Mia); two sisters: Raymonda Whitaker (James) and Trilla Brock; two step-brothers: Harold Collett and Anthony Collett; a special nephew: James Whitaker, his special pets: Rocky, Bandit, Felix and Smokey; special brother-in-law: Jim Whitaker; special friends: Robert Griffitts, Rick Stone and Bonnie & Junior Barrett.

The funeral service for Clyde Edward Brock will be held at 1p.m. – Tuesday, Nov. 7^th, 2023 at the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Taylor Adams officiating.

Interment will follow in the Collett Cemetery at Essie, KY.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 11a.m. – 1p.m. Tuesday at the chapel.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
