Conrad Combs

Conrad Combs born November 14, 1926 in Perry County, Kentucky to the union of McKinnley and Mercey Combs. He departed this life on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at his residence in New Tazwell, TN. He had been a resident of New Tazwell, TN for the past 16 Years. He was a resident of Indiana and Hazard, KY prior to moving to New Tazwell. He was a World War II Veteran where he proudly served as Private First Class in the United States Army, earning a WWII Victory Medal. By occupation he was a factory worker. He enjoyed puzzles and spending time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Edith and Cornelia; two brothers: Bill and Glenn Combs. Mr. Conrad Combs leaves the following surviving: His loving and devoted wife: Abbie Fields Combs of New Tazwell, TN; One Son: Leonard Combs and Tina of New Tazwell, TN; two brothers: Lloyd Combs of Manchester, KY and Grant Combs of Hazard, KY. One sister: Linda of Hazard, KY. Four Grandchildren: Brandy Seals, Holly O'Conner, Heather O'Conner and Jeremy Green. Ten great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
