M r. Curtis Bailey of Essie, Kentucky was born August 29, 1945 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of the late Oscar and Susie Turner Bailey.  Curtis departed this life on Saturday, April 07, 2018 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center at the age of 72 Years.  Curtis had been a life-long resident of Leslie County and by occupation he was a coal miner.

In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by a son, Oscar Jerome Bailey;  first wife, Nancy Margaret Fouts; second wife, Mahala Feltner Bailey;  five brothers, Raymond, Andrew, James, Green, and Earl.

Survivors include, James Bailey & wife, Betty of Essie, KY, and one grandson, Cody James Bailey.
