Daisy Mae Gross, age 75 of Bakers Fork Road, Yeaddiss, Ky passed away Saturday, November 02, 2013 at her residence. She was born February 10, 1938 in Harlan, Ky, the daughter of the late John and Maude Couch Turner. Daisy enjoyed watching t.v., spending time with her grandchildren, family, and her pet dog. She loved her flowers and gardening. She was one who tried to stay on the good side of everyone, and never had anything negative to say about anything. By occupation, Daisy was employed by the Leslie County School Board. She worked as a Custodian for many years. She is survived by three sons: Harold Wayne Boggs and wife Shelly of Raven, Va., Morgan Gross, Jr. and wife Cris of Brownsville, Tx., and Matt Gross and wife Lorene of Somerset, Ky.; one daughter: Hazel Brown and husband Edward of Yeaddiss, Ky.; One Brother: Jack Turner of Florence, Ky.; Special niece: Carolyn Wells and Roger; Special Nephew: Giles & Eileen Joseph; Eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends also survive. Daisy is preceded in death by her parents, John & Maude Couch Turner; her husband: Morgan Gross; Infant daughter: Brenda Boggs; Sisters: Hazel Perry, Lucille Griffith, and Ruby Turner. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home at Hyden, Kentucky with Jeffery Wayne Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Hurricane Cemetery, at Hyden, Kentucky. The family will receive friends at the Wolfe and Sons Funeral Home from 6:00p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Jeffery Justin Minnard, Steven Boggs, Jeffery Wayne Boggs, Drake Boggs, and Adrian Shepherd.
