David Roark

Mr. David Roark, age 55 of Warbranch, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center. David was born in Bell County, Kentucky to the union of Sampson Roark and the late Maggie Nolan Roark. David was a life long resident of Leslie County and by occupation was a security guard. He enjoyed horse back riding and playing music. He was a loving father and a kind person with a wonderful soul. David is preceded in death by his mother: Maggie Roark; Grandparents and uncles. David Roark leaves surviving the following relatives: Father: Sampson Roark; 2-sons: Billy Wayne Roark of Warbranch, KY and A.D. Lloyd Roark of OH; 2 - daughters: Andrea Roark of Happy, KY and Abbie Angel of McKee, KY; 1 - brother: Ronald Dean Roark of Middlesboro, KY; 4 - sisters: Margie Combs of TN, Audrey Roark of Middlesboro, KY, Polly Willoughby of Garrard County, KY and Carol Smallwood of Warbranch, KY; 9 - grandchildren and a host of other family and friends also survive his passing. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. - Monday, January 27, 2014 from the Lower Middle Fork Pentecostal Church of God at Asher, KY with Steve Earl Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the Nolan Cemetery at Warbranch, KY. The family will receive friends after 2:00 P.M. - Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the church.
