Doyle Troy Bowling

Doyle Dean "Troy" Bowling, age 68, of Hyden, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, in Hazard, Kentucky. Doyle was born on March 3, 1957, in Beverly, Kentucky, to the late Raymond and Mary Feltner Bowling.

Throughout his life, Doyle enjoyed cooking, fishing, watching westerns and gardening in his free time. He enjoyed fast cars but overall he thoroughly enjoyed fixing up old cars. 

Doyle is survived by the love of his life Peggy, four step sons, Jonathan Eversole, Andrew Eversole, Cyrus Eversole, and Austin Eversole, one daughter, Haley Melissa Pennington, step daughter Christy Roberts, one brother Taylor Bowling, one special sister in law, Patty Bowling, three grandchildren, Candace Sizemore, Jason Ray Bowling, and trinity Harrison; step grandchildren Dakota Eversole, Daxton Eversole, and Colton Eversole, two great-grandchildren Lucas and Italy Sizemore.

In addition to his parents, Doyle was preceded in death by his son, Jason Bowling, three brothers, Larry Bowling, Clyde Bowling and Dan Bowling, and one sister, Doris Bowling Holland.

A memorial service commemorating Doyle's life will be held at 1p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Lower Bowens Creek Methodist Church.
