Earl Howard

Mr. Earl Howard, age 74 of New Lebanon, Ohio, formally of Leslie County departed this walk of life on Tuesday, March 04, 2014. Earl was born, March 23, 1939 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of the late Allen and Maude Howard. Earl was a veteran, having served honorably in the United States Army. He was a member of the New Lebanon American Legion, Post # 762. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Earl is preceded in death by: his parents; brothers: Edmund, Edward, Edgar and Bill; sister: Helen Howard and a daughter: Linda Adams. Mr. Earl Howard leaves surviving the following relatives: His loving and devoted wife of 43 years: Ruth Howard of New Lebanon, OH; 2 - daughters: Geneva Hamilton of Hyden, KY of OH and Sandy Sink (Jeff) of FL; 2 - sisters: May of Hyden, KY and June of Indiana; brothers-in-law: Allen (Barb) and Jurdon (Sharon), both of New Lebanon, Ohio; sister-in-law: Joyce (Jim) of New Lebanon, OH; A host of other family and friends also survive his passing. Funeral services will be conduced at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 08, 2014 in the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Craig Melton officiating. Burial will follow the services at the Hardy Bottom Cemetery at Stinnett, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00 P.M. until the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Saturday.
