Elzie Brock

Elzie Brock, 52, of Warbranch, Kentucky passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024 at the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, KY.  Elzie was born on October 27, 1971, in Clinton County, IN to the union of Mike Brock and the late Florence "Mable" Caldwell Brock.   By occupation, Elzie was a dedicated Forestry Worker employed by the Kentucky Division of Forestry, where he had a passion for his work.

Elzie loved spending quality time with his family. He was a beloved member of the New Hope Community Church in Warbranch, KY. Elzie's hobbies included hunting and fishing, activities that brought him great joy and relaxation.

He is survived by his beloved father, Mike Brock of Warbranch, KY; two sons, Elzie Mitchell Brock and Preston Brock; a daughter, Janessa Brock; a special stepmother, Tammy Brock; two brothers, Allen Brock (Betty) and Jay Caldwell; a sister, Emilee Smith; special nephews Jensen and Jasper Smith; special niece Meghan (Justin) Angonkowski; as well as special friends Sandy Stacy, James & Hettie Brock, and Cill & Kelly Jones.

Elzie was preceded in death by his beloved mother Florence "Mable" Caldwell Brock, paternal grandparents Mike & Polly Brock, maternal grandparents Elzie & Hannah Caldwell.

Visitation will be on Sunday evening, February 18th after 6:00 PM. at the New Hope Community Church at Warbranch, KY.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 19th at 1:00 PM at the New Hope Community Church with Denver Brock and Mitchel Brock officiating.

Interment will follow in the Brock Cemetery at Rye Cove with Preston Brock, Elzie Brock, Jeffery Nolan, Payton Sizemore, Tony Brock, Waylon Napier, Billy Napier and Jensen Smith serving as pallbearers.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
