Eugenia Matheney

Eugenia Holland Matheney, aged 56 years, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024 at the Mary Breckinridge A.R.H. Hospital.  

Born March 20, 1967, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Doris Bowling Holland.  By occupation, Eugenia work as a medical assistant with more than 25 years of dedicated service to healthcare.

Eugenia was a loving and giving person;  she had a fierce love for her family and cherished the time spent with them.

In addition to her parents, Eugenia was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Dwayne Holland.

Survivors include one beloved daughter Ashley Hanahan of Essie, KY; one brother Jeffery Holland of London, KY and one sister Delone Taylor (Daniel) of Essie, KY. Two cherished grandchildren Chase and Chance Hanahan, and one special cousin Nancy Boles. Also a host of cherished nieces and nephews.  

No public services are scheduled for Eugenia Holland Matheney.
