Frank Morris

Frank Morris of Wilder Branch, Confluence, Kentucky, departed this walk of life on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at the Hazard A.R.H. Medical Center at the age of 74 Years, 09 months and 26 days. He was born December 04, 1940 in Combs, Kentucky to the union of the late Rob and Maxine Sellers Morris. Frank served honorably in the United States Army. By occupation, Frank was a retired lineman, employed by Harlan Electric. Even though Leslie County was his home, Frank's work took him many places to reside, including Michigan, and New Jersey. He was a member of many organizations, including: International Brother Hood of Electrical Workers, life - time member of the AMVETS, life - time member of Loyal Order of Moose and an honorary member of the VFW. Frank loved children and was involved in helping many children. Frank enjoyed four-wheel riding, fishing, hunting, listening to bluegrass music and spending time with his friends. Other than his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joe and Hannah Morris; maternal grandparents, Frank and Mallie Sellers.

Survivors include, his loving and devoted wife, Norma Young Morris of Confluence, KY; four sons, Frank (Betty) Morris, Donnie (Freda) Morris, Frankie Dwayne Wyllard and Robert Morris, all of Indiana; one step-son, Rodney (Debbie) Hall of Knoxville, KY; five daughters, Sukina (Sounny) Slitine of TX, Roberta (Carl) Morris of IN, Jeanie (Bob) Garlock of IN, Frankie Jo Morris of Stinnett, KY and Edith (Greg) Begley of IN; three brothers, Bige (Diane) Morris and Kelly (Anita) Morris, both of Confluence, KY and Fred (Peggy) Morris of MI; one sister, Nancy Morris of Confluence, KY; special nephew, Kelly Morris, Jr.; his two little buddies, Jaelynn Sizemore and Michael Smith; eighteen grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and eight step great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends also survive his passing.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the residence: 2268 Wilder Branch Road, Confluence, Kentucky 41730. Interment will follow in the Space Mountain Cemetery at Confluence, Kentucky with full military honors observed by the Leslie County D.A.V Chapter # 133.
