Fred D. Wilson

Mr. Fred D. Wilson, 75 of Hyden, Kentucky departed this walk of life on Monday, July 17, 2017 at the Hazard A.R.H. Medical Center. Fred was born March 01, 1942 in Hyden, Kentucky to the union of the late Claude and Nettie Howard Wilson. Fred was a Hyden native and was a retired maintenance head, employed by Mary Breckinridge Hospital where he worked for many years. Fred enjoyed playing music and hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy.

Survivors include, two daughters, Terressa Easterling (Chuck) of West Liberty, KY, and Margaret Wright (Ken) of New Mexico; two brothers, Bill Wilson of Hazard, KY and Frank Wilson (Mary) of Big Creek, KY; two sisters, Mary Lou Craft of Gate City, VA and Carrie Jent (Melvin) of Big Creek, KY; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Saturday in the chapel of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Billy Campbell, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery at Willard. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 1:00 P.M..
