Gail Harwood

Gail Cornett Harwood was born September 13, 1954 in Perry County, KY to the union of the late Wilson and Nancy Jane Baker Cornett. She departed this life on March 05, 2013 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY at the age of 58 years. She spent her formative years in Leslie County. She was residing in Georgetown, KY at the time of her passing. Gail was a homemaker, and a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed going to church, gardening and spending time with her family. Gail is preceded in death by her parents; 1 son: Donald Lee Eversole; 2 brothers: Elmer & Rufus Cornett; 2 sisters: Carol Sue Shepherd and Annalee Williams. Gail Cornett Harwood leaves the following relatives surviving: Her husband: Lloyd Harwood of Georgetown, KY; 2 sons: Keith Harwood and Brent Harwood (Amy), both of Georgetown, KY; 3 brothers: Milford Cornett (Patsy), Rondal Cornett (Nadine) and Wilson Cornett, Jr. (Vanessa), all of Yeaddiss, KY; 5 sisters: Judith Cornett of Hazard, KY, Evelyn Nash (Bill) of Corbin, KY, Yvonne Sanders of Corbin, KY, Wanda Couch of Cornettsville, KY and Jayna Wooton of Smilax, KY; 3 Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. - Saturday, March 09, 2013 from the Persimmon Fork Church of God in Jesus Name with Wornie Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cornett Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M. - Friday, March 08, 2013 at the church.
