Gena Whitehead Tipton

Mrs. Gena Whitehead Tipton, age 52 of Reges Road, Irvine, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at her residence. She was born February 10, 1962 in Hyden, Kentucky to the union of Virginia Lee Morgan Whitehead and the late Clifford Whitehead. She was a homemaker, and had been a resident of Estill County for most of her life. Gena is preceded in death by her father: Clifford Whitehead. Mrs. Gena Whitehead Tipton leaves surviving the following relatives: her loving and devoted husband: Ricky Tipton of Irvin, KY; her beloved mother: Virginia Lee Morgan Whitehead of Stinnett, KY; 1 - sister: Diane Sizemore of Hyden, KY; 3 - brothers: Roy Lee Whitehead of Winchester, KY, Roger Wade Whitehead of Harlan, KY and Randy Richard Whitehead of Hyden, KY; A host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Upper Grassy Branch Pentecostal Church at Essie, KY. Gena will be laid to rest in the Lee Morgan Cemetery.
