Herbert Williams

Mr. Herbert Williams, age 74, of Big Fork Road, Yeaddiss, Ky, passed away on August 04, 2014 at the Hazard A. R. H.. Herbert was born April 07, 1940 in Leslie County, Ky to the union of the late Achie Williams and Goldie Kilburn. By occupation, Herbert was a retired coal miner. He enjoyed spending time with his family and being involved in their lives. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Annalee Cornett Williams; daughter: Nancy Boggs; two aunts: Judy Williams and Lila Williams. Herbert leaves surviving: three sons: Herbert Williams, Jr. (Clarissa) of Springfield, IL, Greg Williams (Debbie) of Yeaddiss, KY, and Anthony Williams (Joan) of Busy, KY; one brother: Jerry Lewis (Betty) of Wooton, KY; one sister: Shirley Fields (Robert) of Nashville, MI; Seven grandchildren: Christopher, whom he raised as a son, Bethany, Makeisha, James, Cameron, Raymond, and Joey; A host of other family and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, August 09, 2014 at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at Yeaddiss, KY with Donald Kilburn and James Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Larkin Lewis Cemetery at Smilax, KY. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 10:00 P.M., Friday, August 08, 2014 at the church.
