Jackie D. Davidson of Thousandsticks, KY was born on December 11, 1945, in Williamsburg, Kentucky, she was the beloved daughter of the late Thorn and Irene Gibson Hill.

She was united in marriage Fred Davidson on December 18, 1965.

Jackie led a life marked by dedicated service and heartfelt devotion to her community and family. She served with distinction as the Leslie County Director of Emergency Services under the Kermit Keen administration, demonstrating her commitment to the safety of the community. Her career also included many years at Mary Breckinridge Hospital. Additionally, she was a former clerk at the Hyden Rite Aid and concluded her career as the office manager and clerk for the Leslie County Sheriff's Office during the administration of her husband, Fred Davidson.

Beyond her professional life, Jackie was known for her outspoken and witty personality. She possessed a profound love for people, holding her friends and family close to her heart. Her proudest accomplishment was her family, who meant the world to her.

Jackie cherished the simple joys of life. She was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan, passionately supporting the team through thick and thin. She found peace and joy in tending to her flower gardens. Saturdays were devoted to getting her hair styled, a routine that brought her joy, and Sundays were reserved for worship at Hyden Baptist Church, where she was a longtime, beloved, and devoted member.

She cherished her grandchildren and the time spent with them.  She loved supporting them at sporting events, always cheering from the stands with much enthusiasm and pride.
