Jessie Caldwell

Ms. Jessie Napier Caldwell was born, April 01, 1932 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Joe Napier and the late Fannie Wooton Napier. She departed this walk of life on Monday, January 28, 2013 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, KY at the age of 80 years. Jessie was a life long resident of Leslie County, KY and was residing at Hyden, KY at the time of her passing. Jessie enjoyed cooking, sewing and working in her flower garden. Jessie was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Zack Caldwell; 1 son: Larry David Caldwell and 1 daughter: Sharon Lynn Caldwell; step-father: Kelly Mosley. Ms. Jessie Caldwell leaves surviving the following relatives: 1 daughter: Linda Gail Collett of Hyden, KY; 1 sister: Freeda Hoskins & husband, Charles Richard of London, KY; 1 brother: Clayton Napier & wife, Hazel of London, KY; best friend: Drucilla Combs; special niece: Tina & James Maggard; special friends: Polly Tosley & Gina Melton; 9 grandchildren: Charles David Caldwell & Regina, Joey Caldwell & Lora, Zack Freeman Hoskins & Teresa, Linda Sue Asher & Woody, Susan Renee Caldwell, Jessica Romaine Collett & Michael, Tyler Caldwell & Shawna, Tracy Strange & Bill and Trevor Woods; 12 great-grandchildren: Whitney Caldwell, Breanna Caldwell, McKayla Caldwell, Linda Olivia Caldwell, Chelsey Asher, Haley Asher, Alex Strange, Brennen Strange, Shawn Wilson, Dustin Wilson, Peyton Hoskins and Bentley Collett; 5 great - great grandchildren; A host of other family and friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Thursday, January 31, 2013 from the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church with Teddy Couch, Andrew Farmer, Jack Steven Short and Roger Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in the Honey Branch Cemetery at Helton, KY. The Caldwell family will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M. - Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the church.
