Joann Asher

Joann Asher, age 61 of Oneida, KY passed away on October 05, 2013 at her residence. She was born, December 29, 1951 in Hyden, KY to the union of the late Lige and Amanda Pace Sizemore. By occupation she was a former factory worker and nurses aid. She formally resided in Covington, KY for 15 years. She enjoyed working in her flowers and tending to her animals. Joann is preceded in death by her parents; 1-daughter: Kaylee Asher and a host of brothers and sisters. Joann leaves surviving the following relatives: Husband: Sherman Asher of Oneida, KY; 2 - sons: Jay Asher of Covington, KY and Tommy Richardson of Hyden, KY; 2 - daughters: Tammy Dotson and Brandy Marie Asher, both of Flemingsburg, KY; 2 - sisters: Virginia Lewis of London, KY and Melissa Bruner of Indiana; 10 - grandchildren: Mathew, Haley, Jayde, Tommy, Jonathon, Jacob, Jeremia, Mathew, Jaimy and Abigail. A host of other family and friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Wednesday, October 09, 2013 from the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in the Asher- Sizemore Cemetery at Oneida, KY. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., funeral hour at the funeral home.
