John D. Boggs

Mr. John D. Boggs, born July 27, 1940 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Charlie Boggs and the late Mae Williams Boggs. He departed this life on Monday, March 05, 2012 at the Mary Breckinridge ARH in Hyden, KY at the age of 71 years, 07 months and 07 days. He was a life long resident of Leslie County, KY and was affiliated with the Church of God. John is preceded in death by his parents; Five brothers: Harvey, Boone, Lonnie, Stanley and Haze. Mr. John D. Boggs leaves the following relatives surviving: Five brothers: Manon Boggs and wife, Sondra of Kokomo, FL, Denver Boggs and wife, Lorraine of Smilax, KY, Charles Boggs, Jr. and wife, Mae of Yeaddiss, KY, Warnie Boggs of Wooton, KY and Dennis Baker and wife, Faye of Florida; Two sisters: Barbara Davis and Willie Madden of Wooton, KY and Lois Wells and husband, James of Smilax, KY; A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
