Joyce Ann Pennington

Joyce Ann Caldwell Pennington, 64 of Yeaddiss, Kentucky, departed this walk of life on Monday, May 08, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Joyce was born April 13, 1953 in Leslie County to the union of the late Charlie and Anna Lee Caldwell. Joyce was a native of Leslie County and by occupation, she was a home health nurse aid, employed by the Leslie County Health Department. Joyce enjoyed fishing, playing rook, riding four-wheelers, cooking and going to second-hand stores. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by one infant brother, Tommy Caldwell and one granddaughter, Arabella Hall.

She leaves behind, her beloved husband, Harold Pennington of Yeaddiss, KY, two sons, Joey Hall & wife, Julie of Wooton, KY, and Terry Wayne Pennington of Yeaddiss, KY, daughter, Vicky Lynn Shepherd & husband, Curtis of Cutshin, KY, three sisters, Willa Burnett & husband, Wayne of Tazwell, TN, Donna Wells & husband, Clyde of Yeaddiss, KY and Jackie Caldwell of Yeaddiss, KY, three beloved grandchildren, Dustin Kilburn, Tayton Smith and Keelin Hall, niece, April Brock & husband, Randy of Yeaddiss, KY, great-niece and great-nephew, Hope & Randall Brock of Yeaddiss, KY; Joyce also leaves behind a host of other family and friend.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday in the chapel of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Tommy Fields and Micheal Joseph officiating. Burial will follow in the Turner - Caldwell Cemetery at Yeaddiss, KY. Friends may gather for visitation from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M., Wednesday evening at the funeral home chapel.
