Judy Ann Pennington - Adams

Judy Ann Pennington-Adams of Hyden, KY departed this life on Friday, December 18, 2015 in Manchester, KY at the age of 63 years, 7 months, and 28 days. Judy was born April 20, 1952 in Hyden, KY to the union of the late Arthur and Grace Bowling Pennington. By occupation, Judy was a retired office clerk. She had been a lifelong resident of Leslie County with the exception of having lived in Richmond, KY for some time. She was of the Church of Christ faith and was a devoted member of the Stinnett Church of Christ. Judy was an Elvis fan and enjoyed traveling and shopping. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Other than her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her husband Leonard Adams, granddaughter Malia Davidson, and grandson Arthur David Morgan. She is joined in death by granddaughter Tiffany Williams Morgan, grandsons Kyson and Easton, and special friend Charlene Lewis.

Survivors include: three beloved daughters, Susan Williams Morgan (George D.) of Wooton, KY, Lorrie Davidson (Kenny) of Hyden, KY, Frances Leann Adams Combs (JJ) of Elkhorn City, KY, three brothers, Billy W. Pennington (Katherine) of Richmond, KY, Jerry Pennington (Debbie) of Clearmont, FL, Richard Pennington (Frances) of Stinnett, KY, stepson Jacob Leonard Adams of Hyden, KY, stepdaughter Jeanna Nantz of Georgia, special friend Sherri Davis, and her cherished grandchildren: McKenna Davidson, Chandler Morgan, Mackenzie Morgan, Dylan Combs, Rosie Combs, Whitney Adams, Tyler Adams, and a host of other family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 12pm Wednesday at the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church with Larry Hendrix and Keith Bowling officiating. Burial will follow at the Hensley Cemetery at Wooton, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation after 6pm on Tuesday evening at the church.
