Judy Conner, a resident of Yeaddiss, Kentucky was born November 07, 1956 in Leslie County, Kentucky to Alice Pennington Turner and the late Winfred Turner.

As a long-time educator, Judy had a distinguished teaching career with the Leslie County Board of Education.  She touched many lives through the years, instilling the joy of learning in so many children.  Her genuine concern and true compassion for the students were evident in the everyday life she lived, in and out of the school.  

Judy also had admiration and compassion for the elderly.  Her empathetic nature made her a shoulder for those in the time of need, always willing to help.  Through sickness and struggles of her own, she still remained steadfast in caring for her precious mother, Alice unit the time of her passing. Her life was a testament of a true servant's heart.

Aside from the joy she found in children, the elderly, and helping others, Judy found immense joy in shopping and painting.  She was also an avid reader, something that brought quietness and calmness.   

After a long, hard fought battle, Judy departed this earthly walk of life on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at the age 69.

Judy was preceded in death by her by her father Winfred Turner.

Left behind is her beloved mother, Alice Pennington Turner of Yeaddiss, Kentucky; One brother Hurlen Smith (Helen) of Yeaddiss, Kentucky;  As well as a host of other relatives and cherished friends also survive her passing. 

The funeral service to commemorate Judy's life will be held at 1pm Monday, August 24, 2026 at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home chapel with Winfred Causey and Roger Wolfe officiating.

Interment will follow the services at the Turner - Caldwell Cemetery at Yeaddiss, Kentucky.

Friends and family may gather for visitation at the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday evening, August 23rd from 6pm - 9pm.
