Linda R. Collett Partin

Linda R. Collett Partin born January 9, 1957 in Bell County, KY to the union of the late Carl Collett and Hazel Barrett Collett. She departed this life on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Middlesboro ARH Medical Center. She was 53 years, 1 month, and 11 days of age at the time of her death. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Laurel County for the past 14 years where she was residing at the time of her death. Before moving to Laurel County, she had been a resident of Leslie County. Linda was of the Baptist faith and she enjoyed shopping, music, and spending time with her family and friends. She is preceeded in death by her father, Carl Collett; 1 daughter, Charlotte Brown. Ms. Linda R. Collett Partin leaves the following relatives surviving: Her loving mother, Hazel Barrett Collett; Her devoted husband, Wilburn Partin of London, KY; 1 son, Ed Brown of London, KY; 1 daughter, Chrystal Brown of London, KY; Two step sons: Tim Partin of Union City, TN and Eric Partin of Middlesboro, KY. One Step daughter: Sherry Partin. 5 brothers, John, Roscoe, Gary Lee, Glenn, Carlos, and Lynn Collett; 2 sisters, Chelsea Shepherd and Brenda Collett; Special friends Kevin Wilson, Sabrina Hansen & family; 3 grandchildren; Blake, Charles and Deanne Brown. 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
