Lois Ann Wells

Lois Ann Wells, age 57, of Smilax, Kentucky, wife of James Wells passed away peacefully at her residence Saturday, August 27th, 2016. She was born January 13th, 1959, the daughter of the late Charlie and Mae Williams Boggs. Lois worked as a CNA for a number of years. She enjoyed playing with the grandchildren, planting flowers, gardening and fishing. Lois was united in marriage to James Wells in March of 1981.

She is survived by her devoted husband, James Wells of Smilax, Kentucky; three sons, Jamie Wells (Lavonda) of Hoskinston, Kentucky, Bobby Wells (Sandra) of Somerset, Kentucky, and Gary Wells of Hazard, Kentucky; three daughters, Theresa Reynolds (Kenneth) of New Carlyle, Ohio, Sandy Adams (Doug) of Wooton, Kentucky, and Rhonda Mills of Smilax, Kentucky;
four brothers, Mannon Boggs of Indiana, Denver Boggs (Lorene) of Smilax, Kentucky, Charlie Boggs Jr. (Mae) Yeaddiss, Kentucky and Warnie Boggs of Wooton, Kentucky; thirteen beloved grandchildren, Jase, Leah, Ruby, Andy, Dakota, Bobby Keith, Gary, Brandy, Brandon, Tyler, Travis, Alyssa and Wesley; and host of great-grandchildren; she is also survived by a host of cherished friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Hayse Boggs, Lonnie Boggs, Stanley Boggs, Johnny Boggs, Harvey Baker, Dennis Baker, and Boone Boggs; one sister, Barbara Davis; one grandson, Dustin Sizemore.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 30th, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. with Harold Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Jason Wells Cemetery at Smilax, Kentucky. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M.
