Lora Ann Eversole, born on July 3, 1961, in Leslie County, Kentucky, passed away on April 6, 2026, at Mary Breckinridge ARH Hospital in Hyden, KY. She was a devoted daughter of Ruth Fields and the late Carl Caudill .
Lora was a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant, serving in the healthcare field with unwavering care until she became disabled. Throughout her life, she found much joy in spending time with her family. She particularly loved times of togetherness such as family gatherings and dinners.
An avid fisherman, Lora appreciated the beauty of the outdoors, but above all, her greatest joy came from being with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren. She was gentle in spirit and had a loving and genuine concern, dedication and heart for others. She brought joy to those around her.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by five brothers, and one sister.
She leaves behind her beloved sons, Jonathan Eversole of Georgetown, KY and Weston Evans of Georgetown, KY, and her cherished daughter, Linda Yaden (Stacy) of Stinnett, KY; Life long best friend/sister Kathy Smith; her mother, Ruth Fields; Lora also survived by her sister Karla Edwards and Wayne of Middletown, OH, along with Terry and Walter Napier, whom she loved dearly as brothers. She was a devoted grandmother to four grandchildren: Tamra Davidson, Austin Davidson, Heather Morgan, and Jesse Eversole. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by a host of treasured cousins and many dear friends.
The funeral service for Lora Ann Eversole will be held at 1p.m. Saturday at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Billy Joel Lewis and Jerry Mckinley Holland officiating.
Interment will follow in the Albert Morgan Cemetery at Essie, KY with Weston Evans, Austin Davidson, Corey Brock, Justin Brock, TJ Collins, and David Bretz serving as pallbearers.
Friends and family may gather from 11a.m. until the service hour on Saturday at the funeral home chapel.
