Lula Baker Asher

Lula Baker Asher, born March 01, 1931 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Chris and Nannie Belle Kilburn Baker. She went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center in Hazard, KY. She was 79 years and 20 days of age. She was residing at 47 Pebble Creek Road, Hyden, KY at the time of her death. Lula was a life long resident of Leslie County and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, canning and especially spending time with her family. Mrs. Lula Asher leaves the following relatives surviving: Her loving and devoted husband: Cova Asher of Hyden, KY; One son: Carlos Asher of Hyden, KY; Three daughters: Loretta Mosley of Hyden, KY; Katherine Miller of Hyden, KY and Charlotte Dupier of Williamsburg, KY. One brother: Elmer Baker of Florida; One sister: Oma Shepherd of Wooton, KY. Two Grandsons which she thought of as her own: Mark Osborne and Terry Osborne of Hyden, KY. Eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren survive. Also a host of special nieces and nephews.
