Macky Coots Childers, born August 23, 1944 in Leslie County, KY to the union of late Hurlen & Cora Bailey Coots. She departed this life on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at the age of 66 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Lord Jesus Christ at Yeaddiss, KY. She was united in marriage to Eldon Childers on December 01, 1961 in Jonesville, TN. Mackey enjoyed fishing, quilting and cooking for her family and friends. She especially enjoyed working in her garden. She is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter: Ruth Ann Childers, one brother: Bobby Coots, one infant brother: Hurlen Coots, Jr., one sister: Polly Marie Bramel, five brothers-in-law: Jimmy Adams, Ross Causey, Fred Couch, Johnny and Hannie Childers. One niece: Faith Shoemaker. One sister-in-law: Dallie Shepherd, one nephew: Jack Fredrick, father-in-law: Jack Childers and mother-in-law Polly Childers. She leaves behind the following relatives: Her loving and devoted husband: Eldon Childers of Anniville, KY, one son: Jeffery Allen Childers of Yeaddiss, KY and one daughter: Jennifer Bailey & Gregory of Annville, KY. Four brothers: Mark Coots & Janice, Junior Coots & Maggie, G.T. Coots and Chucky Coots & Alene all of Yeaddiss, KY. Four sister: Joyce Boggs & James, Judy Adams, Roselee Kilburn & Don and Lorraine Boggs & Denver all of Yeaddiss, KY. Two grandchildren: Leanna Nicole Childers & Allison Cora Bailey. Brother-in-law: Buddy Huff & Matilda, 2 sisters-in-law: Thelma Couch and Ula Causey. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
