M ae Collins, 84 of Goose Rock Passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the Claiborne Co. Manor in New Tazwell, TN.  Mae was born May 06, 1934 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of the late Henry and Maggie Gray Lawson.  She was a Clay County native and was of the Holiness faith.  She enjoyed Ginseng hunting and taking walks.

In addition to her parents, Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Collins and two brothers, Tom & John Lawson.

Survivors include, two sons, AB Collins of Goose Rock, and Russell Collins of Parker Lake, KY;  one grandson whom she raised, Earl Wayne Collins of Lockard’s Creek;  two daughters, Marie Opal Collins of Horse Creek, and Irene Smith (Ralph) of Lily, KY;  two brothers, Dock Lawson of Roark and A.B. Lawson (Joyce) of Red Bird;  three sisters, June Lawson and Pearlie Profitt (George), both of Jackson Co., and Hazel Gray of Little Creek.  Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
