Mahala Bailey

Mahala Feltner Bailey, age 70 of Stinnett, KY, departed this life on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the Hazard A.R.H. Mahala was born October 31, 1943 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Malcom and America Parker Feltner. She was a homemaker and a life long resident of Leslie County. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Other than her parents, Mahala is preceded in death by: brothers: Curt, Matt, Malcom and Charley Feltner; sisters: Dorothy Bridges and Roseneil Dunn. Mahala leaves surviving, her loving husband, Curtis Bailey of Stinnett, KY; two daughters: Tina Coots and Muyranda Caudill; step-son: James Bailey (Betty); two brothers: Joe J. Feltner and Willie Feltner; two sisters: Alice Cochran and Leona Bridges; grandchildren: Elmer Coots, Atoshya Baker, Melissa Lowry, Cage Caudill; great grandchildren: Travis Baker, Ashley Baker, Alyssa Lowry, James Riley Coots and Brysan Lowry; step-great grandchild: Cody Bailey; A host of other family and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held at the Hurts Creek Church of Christ on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 1:00 P.M.. Burial will follow in the Brewer Cemetery at Wooton, KY. The family will receive friends after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the church.
