Mallie Rogers Roark, born January 27, 1940 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of Wilson and Ellen Taylor Rogers. She went home to be with the Lord on March 30, 2010 at her residence. She was 70 Years, 2 Months and 3 days of age. She was residing at 454 Old House Branch Road, Roark, Kentucky at the time of her death. She was a life long resident of Leslie County and was a member of the Lower Jack's Creek United Methodist Church at Roark, Kentucky. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. Mallie leaves the following relatives surviving: Two sons: Lloyd Wayne Roark and Donna Jean and Kenneth Allen Roark both of Roark, KY. Four Daughters: Debbie Holland & Ronnie of Roark, KY; Kim Roark of Lonesome, KY; Lisa Ann Fee and Kenny of Roark, KY and Edna Burnett of Tennessee. Three Brothers: Irvin Rogers and Bonnie of North Carolina; Lee Robert Grubbs and Annie of Cawood, KY; Garfield Grubbs and Carolyn of Cawood, KY. Three Sisters: Soffie McClain and Danny Boone of Cawood, KY; Betty Sue Moore and Wayne of Colburn, VA and Della Gailey of Cawood, KY. Special Nephews: Chris, Danny, Dawton and Chase McClain & David Rogers. Special Friends: Mr. & Mrs. Robert Landis, Joyce Rogers and Barbara Nordstrom. Special Thanks to Dr. Lynn Fogleman. 16 Grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren. A host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents: Wilson Rogers and Ellen Taylor Rogers Grubbs; Her husband: Afton Roark; Step Father: Henry Grubbs; One brother: Thurman Napier; One sister: Martha Rogers; Two nephews: Carlo Rogers and Ricky Roark.
