Margaret Couch

Margaret Ruth Couch was born January 17, 1946 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Howard Wilder and the late Ethel Couch Wilder. She departed this life on Tuesday, April 09, 2013 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center at Hazard, KY. She was 67 years of age and was residing at Woodson Branch Road, Hyden, KY at the time of her passing. Margaret was a homemaker and a life long resident of Leslie County. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, working in her flowers and going to auctions. Most significantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by: Her parents; husband: James K. Couch; 2 daughters: Nadine Couch and Tammy Couch; 3 brothers: Bruce, Ralph and Billy Glen Wilder. Margaret Ruth Couch leaves surviving the following relatives: 4 daughters: Linda Morgan of Hyden, KY, Lorine Carmack (Eddie) of Yeaddiss, KY, Marlene Bailey (Paul) of Hyden, KY and Michelle Couch of Hyden, KY; 1 brother: Edward Wilder of Hyden, KY; 3 sisters: Lois Mosley (Harold) of Hyden, KY, Betty Lou Bray (Pete) of Red Bird, KY and Wanda Jean Leathe (Willie) of Flat Lick, KY; 13 grandchildren: Joshua William Morgan, Casey Colin Maggard, Mathew Jorden Bowling, Edward "Lee" Carmack III, Emily Ruth Bowling, Jesalyn Janelle Maggard, James Ashton Woods, Rebeca Grace Woods, Terry Gail Stewart III, Emma Lauren Stewart, James Leonard Couch, Jon Wiley Couch, Jason Couch and Tracie Cook; 4 great grandchildren; Special Friends: Steve Owsley and Mollie Carol Morgan; A host of other family and friends also survive her passing. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. - Thursday, April 11, 2013 in the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Steve Owsley officiating. Burial will follow in the Couch's Fork Cemetery at Bearbranch, KY. The following will serve as pallbearers: Eddie Carmack, Paul Bailey, Jorden Bowling, Casey Maggard, Billy Wayne Wilder and Joey Mitchell. The Couch family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 - 10:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home chapel.
